These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the ConveyRefer website and platform (the “Service”). By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not use the Service.

1. About ConveyRefer

ConveyRefer is a conveyancing referral platform that allows mortgage brokers, financial advisers, and other intermediaries (“you”, “your”, “User”) to refer clients to a panel of trusted UK conveyancing professionals, and to track referral progress via our online dashboard.

2. Eligibility

To use ConveyRefer, you must:

• Be aged 18 or older
• Be acting in a business or professional capacity (not as a consumer)
• Provide accurate, complete registration information
• Accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to verify your identity and reject or suspend accounts at our sole discretion.

3. Your Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Use the Service only for lawful purposes
• Keep your login credentials secure and confidential
• Only submit referrals with the client’s knowledge and consent
• Ensure that any information you provide is accurate and up to date
• Comply with all applicable laws, including data protection and anti-money laundering regulations

You are solely responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Referral Process

By submitting a client referral through the platform, you confirm that:

• You have obtained consent from the client to share their details with a conveyancing partner
• The information provided is accurate and lawful
• You understand that we will forward the referral to a suitable conveyancer from our panel

We do not guarantee acceptance or completion of a referral by a conveyancing partner. You are not party to any legal transaction between the client and the conveyancer.

5. Commissions and Payments

Where applicable, commission payments for successful referrals will be made according to the agreed structure between you and ConveyRefer.

• Commission is only payable on completed cases
• You must provide valid bank details for payment
• We reserve the right to withhold commission where fraud, non-compliance, or misrepresentation is suspected

We are not liable for delays in commission caused by third parties or incorrect information provided by you.

6. Platform Availability

We strive to provide reliable access to the platform but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We may suspend, modify, or withdraw the Service for maintenance or operational reasons.

We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of any significant downtime.

7. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the Service and its content (excluding your data) are owned by or licensed to us. You may use the Service for business purposes only and must not:

• Copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the Service without permission
• Attempt to reverse-engineer or tamper with the platform
• Use our branding or materials without written consent

8. Data Protection

We collect and process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. You confirm that you have obtained valid consent from any client whose data you submit to the platform.

You must handle any personal data received via the platform in a secure and lawful manner.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses
• Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed £500

We are not responsible for the performance, conduct, or advice of third-party conveyancing providers introduced via our platform.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service:

• If you breach these Terms
• If we believe your use of the Service poses a risk to us, our partners, or clients
• If required by law or regulatory authority

You may stop using the Service at any time. Termination does not affect any accrued rights or obligations.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes via email or via the platform. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
